I think we will struggle with “RAT”. It will work where the third party has already invested in web services and needs that “interoperability” to help sell their product (i.e. Arhcdesk).

We’ve recently sold something to West College Scot, this is an integration with their payment portal. But there will not be any real time processing as they aren’t prepared to do that, so it will be basically a fancy “end of day” file upload. Yes it will be automated, but it won’t be real time.
