• Start from Oak Lea Stables, off Queen St, Braydon, nr Minety, SN16  9RL. – what3words; headings.treaty.join
• The club will supply riders with written instructions of route & map – 9.5 miles, along quiet lanes, byways and bridleways and also Whatsapp Voice Notes of route, a step by step guide.
• The ride WILL NOT BE SIGNED – so think orienteering on horse- back !

Some  bridle gates will need to be negotiated, they are easy to do, BUT other difficult ones will be manned.

IMPORTANT – BE AWARE THAT;

Riders to go out in pairs or small groups only, must carry a mobile phone.

A map case for instructions would be useful, in case of rain.

All riders must have 3^rd party insurance and will be asked to declare full details on the entry form.

Riders under 16, cannot ride out without an accompanying adult, either on horse, bike or on foot.

Cakes, tea and coffee to be enjoyed at end of ride, included in the entry fee of £10 per rider,.

Times will be allocated – avail on website on Thurs 27th June.

Open to all but limited to 25 – CLOSING DATE 24th June, for catering purposes & times.

Online booking /payment only – each rider MUST submit an entry form.

RULES OF THE RIDE:
1. Riding hats or crash helmets must be worn and body protectors are strongly recommended.
2. Horses and ponies must be at least 4-years-old. NWSC asks riders to ensure that their horses are fully vaccinated.
3. Children 12 and under must be escorted by an adult please.
4. The course must be ridden in pairs or in groups (the size of group is dependent on any current COVID regulations). Individuals wishing to join a suitable group should consult the starter.
5. The ride may be ridden at any safe pace. Please be courteous to other riders when over-taking.
6. In the event of cancellation the entry fee will be refunded minus £4.00 per entry for administration costs.
7. The organisers decision on any matter shall be final.
8. DOGS WELCOME BUT TO BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES PLEASE. The North Wilts Saddle Club, the Owners of the property, the organisers, all persons and all organisations involved in this ride disclaim all liability for damage to any person or property, that may happen from any cause or circumstance, or for any legal proceedings arising. All participants and other interested persons are responsible for making their own insurance arrangements. By entering the ride you agree to the following disclaimer: I (We) wish to take part in the Autumn Pleasure Ride. I (We) agree to abide by the rules. I understand that the Organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter the advertised route and accept that the Organisers, volunteer’s or landowners will not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or death to any horse, property, rider or any individual.
9. Please park where the marshal asks you to so we are in line with COVID requirements.
10. Abuse towards volunteers, organisers and marshals will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.
11. Payment is at time of booking, if no payment has been received within 14 days of booking your name will be taken off the entry list.
