Apologies for the delay in sending out news items, somehow the summer is running away from us!
There are 3 dates for your diaries:

Sunday 14th August – Mini One Day Event, plus option for Dressage Only sections at Ravensbrook Farm, Brinkworth Road, Minety SN16 9RJ. The dressage will be out on grass, the show jumping on the school, and then the cross country will be in one field over rustic fences, so that the heights can be adjusted. This will be instead of the Ossie Ward Show this year. The Ossie Ward Show will return next year! The schedule can be viewed and downloaded here on our website www.northwiltssaddleclub.com . Likewise you can enter online, but payment will have to be put in the post or brought on the day. Entries close on Monday 8th August.

Sunday 11th September – Hunter Trials (1). Ravensbrook Farm, Brinkworth Road, Minety SN16 9RJOver 2’6″ course of jumps around the fields and small wood. There will be two classes. Class 1 is for pairs, and Class 2 individuals. Again all the information can be found here.

Sunday 25th September – Hunter Trials (2). 2’6″ course of jumps at Ravensbrook Farm, Brinkworth Road, Minety SN16 9RJ. Details can be found here.

Please note that we do need a minimum of 10 entries for these events to justify putting them on. There is a lot of work and time spent organising them, so please do support them. We had to cancel the last evening dressage on Friday 22nd July due to a lack of entries. I know that it is a busy time of year, and many folks are away, but if you can support, then please do. Likewise if you  would like to help on the day, particularly for the hunter trials, then please do contact me on katytudornwsc@yahoo.co.uk.

Friday’s Evening Dressage event has been cancelled. Apologies to those people that entered but there weren’t enough entries on this occasion to justify running the event.

Having said that, there are more events coming up now we’re getting into the season. Dates are still provisional at present but here’s what is planned :-

August
Arena Eventing in Field with the option for dressage only. Three classes, with intro, prelim and novice dressage tests. Show jumps probably at 2′, 2’3″ and 2’6″, followed by a mini cross country course within the confines of one field.

Clear Round Jumping  / Show Jumping (on grass)

Evening Dressage (on grass)

Cirencester male voice choir are holding a concert in aid of Watershed RDA at Cirencester Parish Church at 7pm on Saturday 23rd July.

Hi all,

I know some of you have already entered, but this is a quick (late !) reminder about the combined training on Saturday 16th July. Closing date for entries has been changed to Tuesday 12th July – but no later. I am in court on jury service so you have to allow me time to sort things out!  The schedule is on the website at www.northwiltssaddleclub.com and you can also enter online then pay on the day.

There is also evening dressage on Friday 22nd July. Start time will not be before 6.15 to allow for all of us at work…. Entries for that close on Monday 18th July. Again they can be made via the website.

Please, please, please don’t leave entering to the last minute, as it gets me into a panic, and I worry that we will have to cancel due to a lack of interest!

Hi all,

This is a late missive and schedule for the combined training. Was holding off until the field has been cut, but now that is finally done (thanks to the weather), then it is now all systems go for arena and jumps to go out in the field, and more competitions happening!

Have attached the schedule here <Combined Training 16 Jul 16>, but entries can be made via our website www.northwiltssaddleclub.com. There is a little button that pops up saying follow. Do press that and follow the instructions. Once you are a follower of the site, you will be the first to know of any thing that is happening, any  times that are given out, any photos that are put on the site.

The schedule for the evening dressage on Friday 22nd July is also attached <Evening Dressage 22 Jul 16>. Again entries can be made via our website or in the post. Note that unless we have nothing but rain from now on (which given this summer is a possibility!), this competition will also be held out in the field on grass.

Do please support our events, or we cannot hold them. We need a minimum number of entries to cover costs…..
