Hope that you are continuing to enjoy the Spring weather, and at least the horses are finally losing their winter coats!

Here are a few dates for your diary – all information and entries can be made via our website www.northwiltssaddleclub.com and by clicking on the event title to go to the event’s page on the website.

Sunday 30th April – Polework and Gridwork Jumping with Katie Withers at Ravensbrook Farm, Brinkworth Road SN16 9RJ

12pm – Polework group. 2.30pm Gridwork Jumping. Min 3 per group, max 5 per group. Book your place online via our website, but pay Katie Withers on the day. £15 members or £20 non members. As you will see on the website, we already have minimum numbers for each group.

Sunday 14th May – Dressage Competition at Ravensbrook Farm. Schedule attached. Entries and payment online or in advance of the event. Entries close 8pm Monday 8th May. Cost per class: £10 members, £12 non members. Late entries, subject to numbers £2 surcharge.

Sunday 28th May – Dressage To Music Workshop with Rita West, Ravensbrook Farm, Brinkworth Road, Minety SN16 9RJ
Time – 1.00pm – 4.30pm
Max 6 riders.

Times will be allocated for the whole event i.e for warm-up and for the dancing to music – 20mins warm-up, then 30 mins sole use of 40×20 arena, to ” dance ”  with your horse.

Please bring all music on CDs – any kind you wish, I have used pop music and film score music – that you think may suit your horse’s paces at walk, trot & canter. Someone will be on hand to play/stop and re-start the music as and when necessary in your schooling session, so you get an idea of what works best for your horse.
